Is the data parser working, I've had it running on my computer for 2 weeks now and I noticed one mob I killed 12 times last weekend only has 10 kills on it nowhere near matches my stats. How can I tell if it's working properly and how often does it transmit data?

Well there's certain conditions where the data you transmit can be lost. If you shut down the game before it sends the data to the remote server and if the extension fails to see what server you are on.

It also doesn't log kills, only loots. So if you kill something but don't loot it, it never gets logged since it wouldn't make any sense to do so because we can say nothing about what the mob had.

If you want to know if your data is being transmitted look at the character profiles and see if you character profile is being updated.

so doing a quest dont get logged?

I did the Posner Boat quest on Thestra yesterday and I see nothing on it for Ridge of Memories. During the quest I didnt loot anything but did recieve many items back and further for the 13 step quest.

is there any place to see what you have uploaded?

I don't believe there is a way to see what you have submitted.

Quests do of course get logged but you really don't have to worry about individual data. It'll all be collected sooner or later. If the client can't tell what server you're on the data will be dropped. Your last data submit was today at 4:30 pm. So data is coming through. Maybe you shut down the client before that data was sent. Don't worry about it.

Okay well, I can see my profile, but I have other issues...where mobs I've been farming on have less entries than I have kills on them. That's why I even asked. How well does it actually work when leaders put the loot onto Group Loot - Split Cash - Distribute Cash Loot as well?

In the case of groups it can't tell where the gold comes from so it's ignored. You also have to loot the actual corpse and see the items drop from it. If someone else loots it, it's ignored. This is because the server simply gives whoever looted an item. It never really never bothers with telling the client where the item was taken from. At least it used to be like that and I think it's still true.

Unless of course someone is looking for a quest mob that doesn't particularly drop any loot :)

Entities are logged based on visuals.. if you see a mob it's logged. Drops are another story.

Figured this was the case, I've been ninja looting in all my groups and making sure to look at boss mobs after rolling starts to get the loot into my parser. Although with pass out cash loot & split coin, it's really going to skew a lot of data since it seems to be the preferred method of looting.
