- About InfoMap Basic
This mod is no longer supported - please go to InfoMap Advanced!
InfoMap is a Vanguard UI map mod for use ingame. It is a joint project by Cobal, Nadger, Soresha and Xndyr.
In the Basic mod, PoIs are given as coloured dots and other markers, superimposed on the maps. Locations are included for all six tiers of resources. Altars, bind stones, riftway stones, bankers, exchange brokers and mailboxes are also given.
The date in the filename indicates when the data was extracted from the PoI database. The PoIs have been collected by players using an Automatic Logging System, and comparison scripts are used to check new data, so the accuracy of the data is high.
The map mod can be installed on it's own or combined with other map standards compliant UI mods. It can also be used in conjunction with a CustomPoINames.txt file for your other PoIs.
Installation instructions and further details are available on the project web pages: http://www.soresha.net/infomap/
Updated data images for InfoMap Basic are available from the project web page. These updates will be generated as new data becomes available in the PoI database.
NB: The data updates currently provided are only compatible with v1.0 onwards. Any users with an earlier, beta version of InfoMap installed should upgrade to either InfoMap Advanced or the latest version of InfoMap Basic.

Soresha saidInstallation can be done in several different ways, depending on whether you are installing the full mod or just updating the images, and whether you already use another UI mod you wish to integrate it with.
Full instructions are given on the project page: http://www.soresha.net/infomap/

Soresha saidErm, where does InfoMap appear under World of Warcraft?
I've never used that side of Curse, so your comment has me a little confused I'm afraid. But I did a quick search and couldn't see it there.
